Tell us what you are looking at and we will give you a straight read on it. If it is not worth bidding or not worth applying for, that is what we will say.

Solicitation or funding notice number We ask for this first, before anything substantive, so we can check it against our conflict register alongside the state below. If somebody else already has it, you will know today rather than in three weeks. Put "not sure yet" if you are still looking.

Issuing agency or funder

If you are a utility: which system, and roughly how many metered connections?

If a merger or consolidation is involved, name the other system

We cannot work for both sides of a consolidation study, so we screen this before you tell us anything substantive.

State the work is in Part of the clearance check. A few states put conditions on this kind of work and we would rather find that out now.

What you think you need

What is going on * A few sentences is plenty. If you lost this one before, say so and say what you were told. Do not send confidential pricing or strategy in this form; save that for after we have cleared conflicts.

Submitting this form does not create an engagement and does not make us your consultant. Nothing you send is confidential until we have cleared conflicts and signed an engagement letter, so hold back anything sensitive until then.

If the clock is short

Call rather than fill out the form. Anything due inside ten business days carries a rush surcharge, and we would rather tell you that on the phone than have you find it in a quote.

What happens next

We run the number against the conflict register and check the state for anything we have to clear first, usually same day.
If it is clear, we read the document and call you.
You get a fixed fee in writing before any work starts.
Half up front, half on submission.
